About

Let's help your child find their voice

As a speech-language pathologist and parent, I understand how vitally important communication is for children and their families. From saying first words, to following instructions for safety, to making friends at school or being able to talk about a bad day, communication is at the center of all of it. It's a cornerstone of child development and has a significant impact across all areas including social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive domains. That is why I have made helping children with communicative disorders my passion. Nothing brings me more joy than watching a child come into their own, their true selves shining through as we strengthen the building blocks of communication together. It is my mission to help children and their families by providing specialized, evidence-based treatment utilizing a child-centered approach for maximal success. I received my B.A. in Psychology at the University of California Berkeley in 2008, after which I worked with children on the autism spectrum providing behavioral therapy in homes, schools, and clinics for 8 years. However, my time there helped me realize that one of the areas that made the biggest impact for the children I worked with was helping them with their speech and language. As their communication improved, so did their ability to advocate for themselves, connect with others, and learn new skills. Thus I found my passion for speech therapy and obtained my M.S. in Communication Disorders from the California State University, Northridge in 2021. I've been providing speech therapy to children from all age groups and all walks of life ever since. I have worked across a wide variety of domains including speech delay, language delay, augmented and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and stuttering. I utilize a child-led, play-based therapy approach combined with evidence-based practice. After all, children learn best when they're having fun! I currently offer in-home therapy services within the San Fernando Valley and teletherapy services throughout the state of California. Please reach out to me to schedule a free phone consultation and I will be more than happy to help you.
